The Albany "C" Crew

In the summer of 2019 Whiskers was alerted to a group of cats living in a bad section of Albany who needed help.  There were numerous cats and kittens who were being cared for by local homeless people, and rumors were that other locals were threatening to harm them.   Whiskers spent weeks setting traps and waiting paitiently to get all of the cats out of there and to safety.  As of July 2019 we have successfully taken in six adult cats and we have four more we are trying to save.  The cats we've taken in are young, friendly and mostly healthy, but they all needed to be spayed or neutered, required vaccines and anti-worming medication.  One cat required eye surgery that was costly.  They will be listed for adoption once they are medically cleared.  We hope to save the remaining four cats who are still out on the street and find all of them the loving, forever homes they deserve.  It will cost thousands of dollars to save all seven cats, but we think they are worth it.  Don't you?  If so, please consider sponsoring the Albany "C" Crew.  From top left, Carrington, Carruthers, Carville, Carlos, Carlita and Cornelius.
